Irna Priore (PhD) was an Associate Professor of Music Theory at the University of North Carolina Greensboro. She passed away after a long illness in spring 2014, and is greatly missed by family, friends, colleagues, and students. Her publications have appeared in Theoria, the Yearbook of the Deutsches Volksliedarchiv Freiburg, and the book, Berio’s Sequenzas.
