Hang Nguyen (PhD, MLIS) is Reference Librarian at the State Historical Society of Iowa in Iowa City. She completed her PhD in Musicology in 2018 and the Master's in Library and Information Science in 2021 at the University of Iowa. She serves patrons all over the state, nationwide, and overseas with Iowa history and genealogy topics. Current special projects include coordinating the Conservation Lab workshops with the University of Iowa Center for the Book graduate students and the Iowa Musicians Project with local musicians.
